Description
Do you have a sewing machine gathering dust?
Have you tried to use your machine, but you just can’t seem to work it out?
Were you told at school that you would never be able to sew?
If any of these resonate with you, then this is the perfect class for you. Over the course of eight lessons, you will have my help to get to know your machine and how to look after it. You will also have my guidance to create six projects designed to build your confidence as you learn some basic sewing skills.
Not sure if online sessions will work?
The videos included in this class have been tested with a new student, let’s call her Chris. Chris had been told at school that when it came to sewing, she was unteachable. Can you imagine what that does to your confidence? As Chris had been unable to attend some of the in person classes due to illness, she accessed the videos at home. She watched them over and over and was able to make the items you in in the photo above. Chris now has the confidence to try making lots of different items and you can do the same, she has proved to herself that she can sew, and so will you.
To make this class even easier for you, I will send you all the materials you need to make all of the items. You’ll just need to add a basic sewing kit, thread and your sewing machine. I can’t wait to sew along with you.
During this class you will:
Get to know your sewing machine Sew a Simple Bag Sew a Cushion Cover with Faux Piping Sew a Zipped Pouch Sew a Simple Lined Bag Sew a Drawstring Bag Sew a Buttonhole Hanging Pouch Basic Sewing Machine Maintenance
All materials are provided, cut ready for you to begin sewing (we will be using recycled fabrics). Includes one to one online sessions (to help you set up your machine).
