I've got lots of tubs and crates of fabric, much of it has been gifted. I'm very grateful for what I've received, but at times it's been overwhelming, and, as it's not quilting fabric, I'm sometimes at a loss as to what to do with it. It was time to sort it out and use what I could.
While I'm going through the boxes, I'm packing up what I know I won't use for a very long time, if ever, and packing it up to send to someone else who can. That way, I may be able to reclaim some of my living space.
The first piece, or should I say, two pieces of fabric were remnants of some brushed needlecord. It has an almost metallic look to it. Put them together with a grey zip I'd managed to acquire and I had a cushion cover.
After one successful foray into the box, it was onto the next piece. Come and see the result tomorrow.
