You may remember, at the beginning of the year, I pulled out a handful of projects that needed finishing. I've been steadily working my way through them, in between new projects.
Yesterday, my hands fell upon two small packages. Inside was pincushion sand, so strawberry pin cushions it was going to be.
I've done smaller ones in the past, but decided I'd do some larger ones this time. This time, the sand is inside a separate bag within the strawberry and that has been covered with wadding, before the outer fabric has been added.
These are about two and a half inches long, and two and a half inches across at the widest part. They fit nicely into the hand, and with a nice weight to them, they will be a lovely addition to anyone's sewing kit.
