Last week seemed to be the week of cushions, so I'm hoping to share those with you, and they should be appearing in the shop as the days go by.
For the first cushion, I got together a range of fabrics that went together, from light to dark and thought of a simple block to put them altogether. These are just small scraps I had in my box, although the backing was a fat quarter.
Once quilted, I added a back and stuffed, then put a pocket on the back. This is intended as a child's pillow (although it would be quite handy for adults too), and the book is included in the price. Once read, it can hold whatever book is the book of the moment.
After doing one in orange, I'd thought I'd do one in blue. Come back tomorrow and see how that turned out.
Today is day twelve of the blog tour, and this time we are travelling to Sunny California for a Danish inspired tutorial. To find out all about it, come with me to visit Pat. Click on the badge, and you'll get there in an instant.
