The first of the quilts was made entirely from recycled shirts, the backing were recycled from curtains, and has a polyester batting. The second quilt has the same backing and batting as the first quilt. To go with the recycled shirts, I added all the blue scraps from my fabric box. Both quilts, although having similarities are so different.
I've enjoyed every minute of putting these together, I've learned a bit more about the boys who will be using them, and have had fun working with their mum to put these together. Now to send them on their way, but, as it's a Bank Holiday, I'll just let them sit there for one more day
