I've been getting ready for next month's featured class and need to get a cushion made. The challenge was to recycle fabric from shirts which is something I love to do. I've had a few shirts that I rescued from charity shops some time ago and they're all have the same range of colours.
They were perfect to use. I had five shirts and a cushion only made a small dint in the fabric, so I thought I'd do a little quilt. I'll be sharing the process with club members as a bonus project.
The quilt top is now complete and it's been pressed. The next task is to piece the back from the remainder of the shirt fabric. That's tomorrows quick sewing fix sorted.
