The knitting was quick, and once you got used to the feel of the yarn, simple to do. The problem came with it's many parts. The ribbing bands were all knitted separately and sewn on. That wouldn't have been a problem, if I'd kept all the parts organised, but with trips to the hospital and Daniel taking over my corner, things got a little disorganised.
A sleeve got sewn in place of the hood, and undone, the hood ribbing got sewn on the front and undone, the hood got sewn on the wrong way so off it came, and of course the ribbing again, pieces were pinned right side to wrong side, so unpicked and resewn. It was one thing after another. Oh, did I tell you about the sleeve edging that went walkabout? No? I knit another one, so guess what I may be finding in the next clear up!
In the end, after a lot of muttering, and not allowing myself to move onto anything else until it was done, it was finally finished yesterday. The next thing I knit with this wool will be a blanket, no sewing up, no stress-I hope!
