Over the last couple of weeks, I've met and had discussions with Elysium Craft Studio. As from yesterday, they are stocking some of my items to sell in their shop.
The Studio is based at a garden centre that is undergoing some extensive regeneration, so it's all exciting to see where it will go. Once the major works are done, from the spring onward, there are lots for plans for this little shop. We're hoping there will be regular drop in sessions for knitting and stitching, as well as a full programme of workshops.
Not only have my items been accepted, I have new items to make, and I'll hopefully, be branching out into new areas. I'm hoping to be doing some workshops, which has been one of my dreams. In the meantime, I'm going to be investigating and trialing starter kits to sell. This is definitely a new direction for me, and I'm really excited at the prospect.
Knowing how helpful and supportive you all are, your suggestions in the comments will be appreciated. I'm looking for ideas to develop for adult and children's workshops, as well as kits for people to buy, anything from starter kits, to a bit more advanced. What would you want included in a kit that you bought?
Elysium Craft Studio has a Facebook page here where you'll find details of where they're based. If anyone is near the area of Anston, and would like to meet up for a cuppa, then do give me a shout, I'd love to meet you, and introduce you to the lovely team behind the venture.
