Do you remember I had four blocks left over from the main quilt? Well, they need using up. Originally, I was just going to join them together to make a cushion cover, but it didn't quite go to plan.
Somehow, I'd put these blocks together differently to the others. There was no way to put them together in a way that the blocks would alternate properly, so I've had to come up with an alternative design. For the backing, I've used another recycled shirt.
As it's not a regular size, I've made a cushion pad to go with it. This has been made from fabric recycled from a duvet cover. The cushion cover has been washed to remove the quilting guide lines, so once the back has been ironed, I'll show you it in all it's glory.
Did I tell you that I enjoy this recycling?
