I've been cutting the 61/2" squares from the jeans, with the idea of making a throw. In my mind, it had a masculine feel, and to keep in with the idea of their ragged jeans, I wanted the seams to be on the right side, and to fray with each wash.
It's been some time since I first started collecting the squares, so it was time to see how far they went.
As you can see, I've got four rows, and they're long enough to go floor to floor over my double bed. As it will eventually go over a settee, it needs to be big,
Pockets and seams have been included, and adds to the fun aspect of this throw. Unfortunately, I've almost come to the end of my stack of squares. I'll have to wait patiently for some more jeans to be made redundant.
