I have managed to get the last sleeve knitted, but I was happy to see, the sewing up doesn't have to start yet. The borders are knit seperately before being sewn on for the neck. I have started the buttonhole band, but have come to a bit of a standstill. I just need an evening when I have a little energy left for concentrating on counting the rows.
When I got in yesterday, I had a really bad headache, which is quite unusual. It wasn't long before I found out the reason why, we had an evening of thunderstorms, with wonderful lightening displays. It wasn't the best night for being a taxi driver, but it certainly meant it was a more comfortable night for sleeping.
Before I go and make a start on the day, I'd like to say thank you to all those that stopped by yesterday, especially to those who left a comment. If you have arrived a bit late, you can still put your name down for the giveaway, just go and comment on this post. It was lovely putting names to some of the people I've met through business pages on Facebook and Twitter. I am looking forward to travelling along the tour with them, the next stop is with Susanne here. Please go and say hello, and she has a lovely giveaway too.
