That was the start of all the planning. It's meant months of making projects I've not been able to share. Testing patterns to make sure they made sense and were accurate. Lots of lessons were learned to take forward if there was going to be a repeat of the calendar.
Finally, I had all my projects together and the photo shoots began with the wonderful Art Works gang.
We finally pulled everything together and went to the printers. DS Creative were brilliant from the start. There were lots of emails going backwards and forwards as the design was agreed and corrections were made. It's amazing how seeing something in a different format helps you to pick up things you've missed! It only took a few days from the final go ahead to being able to pick up the printed copies.
It's something quite special to see something you've only dreamed about become a reality. I've known about this for such a long time, but it is very difficult to put into words what it felt like to pick up the first printed calendar. I really do appreciate the input of all those that have helped over the last year. Now, I just hope that you'll enjoy it too.
As soon as the packaging arrives, the first lot of calendars will be sent out this week. I'll advise of other dispatch dates as soon as they are confirmed. I know some are wanting to buy these as gifts, so I will make sure that further print runs mean that there were be a delivery leaving here week commencing 11th December, 2017. A donation from each calendar sold will be going to the Teenage Cancer Trust and to Art Works Sheffield. You can find out more information and order your copy here.
Once you receive your copy, I'd love to know what you think and which month you are looking forward to most. I've already got one vote for November!
