All my trimmings and cut off threads, bits of yarn and any other textile pieces that can't be used go into a bag next to my work table. When it's full, it's time to make a new dog bed. The outer cover is also recycled, this time from a duvet cover.
Finley has had a regular supply of new beds this year. It's meant the old, worn out one upstairs can be thrown out. The one from downstairs moves upstairs, and we have this clean, fresh one in the sitting room. He never needs a second invitation to sit on them and make himself comfortable.
My scrap bag is already half full, so I don't think it will be too long before he gets another new one. What do you do with your scraps?
