I've also been back in the studio this week for more photos. We think this will be the last session so hopefully, very soon, I'll be able to reveal all. I'd like to say a big thank you to staff and service users at ArtWorks for their hard work. It's definitely been a big learning curve with lots of fun along the way.
It's September and it means our club member's are moving onto a new project. Our featured class is all about appliqué and making a fabulous cushion. Here is the Facebook Live video I did to introduce the class.
Something a bit different this week. This is from Kathy, a member of the Get Creative with Loopy group. She has transformed this table. It's beautiful and perfect for the setting. Seeing the photos of all the pieces she has transformed is making my fingers itch to get the paint pots out.
If you like to chat with other people interested in crafts, please come and join the group. Next week I will be introducing the next swap/challenge. You are more than welcome to come and join in.

When it comes to sewing machines, it's surprising how small things can cause so many big problems. One of the first things is to check is that our machines are threaded properly. Did you know that the position of the foot when threading our machine can make a difference? What this weeks video tip and find out more.
Rowan brushed fleece chunky yarn is now available at Hobbycraft. There are some beautiful soft shades available but at £7.50 per 50g it might appear a bit pricey until you realise it's predominately wool and alpaca. It's perfect for making those winter woollies. With an autumn chill in the air, it's not going to be long before we'll be wanting some chunky layers.
Merinos 2.5 from Bergere de France is a smooth, lightweight yarn, made from 100% Falkland Island Merino wool. This 4 ply is soft enough for babies garments and blankets and it's machine washable on a gentle cycle. Deramores still have some yarn with 50% off.
Love Knitting have two deals on DK yarn for just a few days. Simply enter the code DK15for 15% off or DK20 for 20% off when you spend £35.
Over at Wool Warehouse, they have 20% off all Debbie Bliss yarn.
Until Monday, Plush Addict are offering free delivery to the UK and Europe.
If you have a baby to sew for The Corner Patch have a wonderful Winnie the Pooh quilting panel available with co ordinating fabrics. It would make a fabulous gift.
Finally this week, I want to leave you with a personal recommendation. I'll be doing a full review on my blog in the next few days but I thought I'd let you know about it first.
A little while ago, This Psycho Knits put out a call for test knitters to try out a new pattern. I was happy to be among a small group that was chosen. This pattern has now been released and I can tell you it's an absolute joy to knit. It's a pattern for a triangular scarf/shawl. It's available from Ravelry here. Remember to keep checking the blog this week for my photos and thoughts.
Don't forget, to come and book your place on this month's featured class. If you haven't already tried it, there is a fantastic free class available. Next week, I'm hoping to have a product review for you.
