I had in mind this week, two cat nip toys I wanted to make. I had a certain picture in my mind, but the reality first time around was far from what I had wanted or saw in my minds eye.
This fish or whale as some have thought wasn't bad. It looked like the picture I had in mind but there was a problem. You see the narrow tail? That was a nightmare to turn out, so an adjustment would have to be made to make it easier to make.
So, were these failures? In one sense, maybe, but they have become a stepping stone to better designs. Does Bear mind that these don't look how I wanted them to look? No, he's happy with them just the way they are. So the next time something doesn't turn out the way you expect, don't let it bring you to a full stop. Build on what you've learned for the next time, you never know, you might end up with something better than you had expected.
