When I first received the pattern, I wasn't sure I'd be able to do them. The pattern comes with a chart, and growing up with English patterns, charts don't feature as widely in other countries. However, I'm not one to be beaten, so I took a deep breath and started at the beginning. As it turned out, working the chart was easy to do. Meret does state on her listing, this is for experienced knitters, and I would agree. However, if you have someone to show you the various elements, it's not beyond a less experienced knitter who is comfortable with taking on a challenge.
I have changed the toes a bit from the original pattern, but that's my personal preference, not a fault with the pattern. These are definitely a pair of socks to feel comfortable in, the leg shaping is second to none.
If you would like to have your own copy, Meret has them available in her Butzeria Etsy store.
So that's my second pair of socks done on double pointed needles, and yes, I'll definitely do more. I've just got to find the right wool.
