Make a peg bag. There is probably more than one way to do these, but this is the method I use
There wasn't much left of the lips fabric once the ironing board cover was made, but I couldn't let it go to waste.
This peg bag is definitely a mix of traditional and modern. It's a traditional style bag, with very modern fabric. It'll definitely be a conversation starter over the garden fence.
More fabric has been bought by request, and in the coming week, there will also be a tutorial on how these bags are made.
Gradually, I'm using up the hangers making peg bags. This time, it was using the last of the the owl fabric. What a fun place to look after your pegs. It could even hang in a wardrobe and look after socks and tights, how much fun would that be?
Apart from this, more secret sewing has been going on, and some have been delivered. It won't be long now, and I'll be able to start sharing with you what I've been making. In the meantime, enjoy your weekend
I have had a lifelong love of crafts which started with being taught how to knit at a very young age. It didn't take long to realise that great joy and satisfaction came from making things. Even now, I get a thrill seeing something that started just as an idea, becoming a finished product, whether I make it, or teach someone else how to make it.
