In the original post, there is mention of Maggi. Sadly, Maggi lost her battle with cancer some time ago, but I will alway remembers her wonderful work, the support she gave and the pleasure I had from using her hand dyed threads and fabric.
I was introduced to Ledger Work on a class I did with Karen Ruane and it's something I do come back to from time to time. It's really a great way to develop ideas and designs.
It's been some time since I did any work in my Ledger, but I have been putting away cards to use as inspiration. I am aiming to work on my Ledger, at least once month, so it doesn't get forgotten, and the skant ledger skills I have, don't get lost altogether.
The photo is of Texas Bluebonnets that reminded me of bluebells and grape hyacinths we get in this country.
Next to the post card, are some colour samples from playing with watercolour paint.
