This is one of the things I've been working on. I can't show you the right side, but I thought you'd might like to get some idea of size of the task.
Each row is 350 stitches and to make sure it's done in time, I have to do ten rows a day. Added to that, it's not just plain knitting, there are words knitted into the blanket. I'm about half way here, so imagine this twice the size!
There is no way to get a true feel of how this is going to look, I can't spread it out flat until it comes off the needle, but I can't wait.
I do have other knitting on the go too. I've got to get a pair of fingerless gloves done ready for delivery next week. It's definitely a story of extremes.
In other news-the parcel has arrived with treasures to make another memory quilt. I can't wait to get started, but I just need to get to know what I'm working with first. I'm sure they have an interesting story.
