Last week, I left you with a teaser, and a couple of people were correct in their guesses.

The single strip you saw last week was joined by three others.  Sewn together they became a baby blanket.

Knit using Sirdar Supersoft Aran, it was quick to do, and is very soft to touch.  Total size is about 26" x 54".

Jonathan thought I was knitting neopolitan ice cream when he saw it, and the colours do have an "ice cream" feel, we just need to work out what flavour the blue would be.

There is some yarn leftover.  I'm not sure yet, if there will be enough for another blanket, or if it will be a cushion cover.  You'll have to watch this space.

Oh Jane, how pretty this blanket is! And it does look like ice cream or maybe colored cotton candy.

That's beautiful Jane. Looks like you knit it in strips rather than squares - what a good idea - cuts down on seaming (my least favourite thing of knitting). A good idea for a baby gift.

Lovely. I thought it might be a blanket but wasn't sure. We do have cotton candy here in the states that is blue and pink. Sweet baby colors.
