It's time to move everything to one place, so Loopy's Place is where you can find my shop and my blog.  Welcome to my new home.

About Me

I have had an interest in all sorts of crafts from a very early age.  My dad taught me to knit when I was five, my mum refining the technique over the subsequent years.  Sewing at school was a disaster, but I did enjoy embroidery.  When I left school, my mum bought me a needlepoint kit and I was hooked.  From that, I've done cross stitch and all forms of surface embroidery.  Over the last four or five years, I've been quilting and also taught myself to crochet.

After a change in circumstances, I moved to Sheffield, and had to come up with ways to supliment my income.  Someone suggested I could earn some money from doing the things I enjoyed.  This had the advantage of being able to stay at home and support my boys through their education.

My Blog

A day to day chronicle of the things I'm working on for myself, the shop,  for commissions, or for gifts

My Shop

Where I sell the things I make.  Items available will reflect the many interests and hobbies I have.

Eco-Loopy

Here you will find links to my Wikaniko online store, product reviews and tips for cleaning that are kind to ourselves and the environment.

My Recipes

As an extension of my home, some of the recipes that have passed the taste test will be included.  To start with, it will be the smoothies and soups that we enjoy.  Maybe over time, other categories will be added.

Destash Page

Where I list everything that I no longer need, or have surplus to requirements.  Changes to this page are made quite frequently, so please be sure to check back from time to time.

Commissions

I am more than happy to take commissions.  If I can't do it, I will let you know.  Previous commissions have included embroidery, sewing, knitting, crochet, and picture framing.  Any questions please feel free to contact me
